Location of Amarilia Studios

Skala Rachoni, where Amarilia Studios are located, is the coastal part of the village Rachoni. It is a small, traditional village on the west side of Thassos island, which has a very nice sandy, calm beach with crystal clear waters. Here you can also enjoy delicious, fresh fish and local delicacies in the taverns  by the sea.

Amarilia studios are 7 km. away from the port of Limenas (ferry connection to Keramoti) and about 5 km. from the port of Prinos (ferry connection to Kavala), and therefore an ideal starting point for your tour around the emerald island of Thassos. 

Thassos island apart from an island of rare beauty, due to its virgin nature and wonderful beaches, it also has a rich historical background. You should undoubtedly visit the archaeological site of Limenas and the archaeological museum.

The museum is one of the largest museums in northern Greece and the largest in Eastern Macedonia and Thrace. The exhibition of the Museum of Thassos includes archaeological artifacts dated from the ancient to the Byzantine period.

The ancient theater located on the acropolis of Thassos, every summer since 2002, hosts the successful arts festival in the region, that you should not miss. 

Also on the island there are beautiful beaches and picturesque, traditional villages, where you will experience the thassian hospitality firsthand.
